  1. Hello, my name is Michelle and I have a 6 yr old daughter with autism. We are interested in the Family swim and would like a packet. Can we download one online? Please get back to me. Thank you.

    • Hi Michelle! Thank you for your comment! If you scroll up to the Family Swim section of this page, I’ve added a PDF of the “Family Swim Agreement Form.”

  2. Hello, my name is Luke. I do not have a physical disability other than being over weight. My doctor wants me to swim a least twice a week. I am wondering if the pool is open for people to swim laps?

    Thank you,
    Luke Smith

    • Hi Luke!

Thank you for your comment! I recommend our Independent Exercise class, which is offered multiple times per day, Monday – Friday. I’ve listed the schedule below:

      Monday – Thursday: 7:00 – 8:30am, 10:00 – 12:00pm, and 2:00 – 5:00pm
      Friday: 7:00 – 8:30am, 10:00 – 12:00pm, and 2:00 – 3:30pm

You’re welcome to a complimentary trial lesson the first time you come by! After that, for $55 per month (plus a one time $25 registration fee), you can use our pool during the scheduled sessions as many times as you’d like.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact our Aquatics Director, Roseli, at 714-633-7400, ext. 241., or aquatics@riorehab.org.

Thank you! Have a great day!

    • Hi Laurie!

Our special needs swim lessons (called Adaptive Swim Lessons) are offered all year round, by appointment, Monday – Friday. Please call (714) 633-7400, ext. 241, to schedule.

      Thank you!

  3. Hi:

A friend and I are considering joining your program for water aerobics. We both have a muscular dystrophy. She is pretty mobile but me, not so much. My question has to do with accessibility to the pool. I am on a walker and I usually need a lift to get in and out or I must wear water shoes with my leg braces in order to get in and out of the pool. Does your pool have a ramp? Also, would I be allowed to wear my AFO’s with water shoes if needed?

    Thanks,
